Loot Rules.

All Items are Open DKP bid based for distribution, minimum bids are 10 points with a minimum increment of 5 points being accepted from then on. The following stipulations / exceptions apply.

1. Set items – (now tokens) are Open Bid and no longer have a set cost. This means that they will go to the highest Bidder in each case. If for what ever reason a token is not being bid on for main spec it is of course available to anyone for off spec bidding, but please note that Main spec still has preference.

2. Patterns / Recipes – Go first to an Officer in the guild who has that profession so that its availability to the guild is theoretically guaranteed. After that any repeated drops of the pattern will be distributed to the members of the raid that can Learn them at that time. Please note that BOP Item Patterns are treated like any other type of loot are subject to the standard DKP system.

3. Purpose Items. Ie a staff with Healing, or a Sword with defense. Common sense an the rules dictate that these are available to the classes that can use them in their main role according to spec first. If no one of that spec wants or needs the item they are then opened to off spec next an finally anyone in the raid. Again they are Open bid as far as this goes but with the afore mentioned restrictions.

4. Weapons – Melee weapons are firstly for Melee DPS. The only exception is where they fall into the purpose category. Ranged weapons are similarly for Ranged DPS first with the same restriction. If no one in the primary role needs or wants it as an upgrade it is then open to whoever can use.

5. PvP vrs PvE – Our raids are PvE. “PvP therefore has no Priority for Raid loot.”

6. Epic Gems All gems that are collected from any raid instances will go to the guild bank. If a Player wants a gem to socket a Piece of Tier PVE equipment they will be available for 10 DKP each. Please note that we have a very limited supply of these an as such they will NOT be available for PVP equipment.

To organize a gem for your gear please contact an Officer in game an show them the Item you wish the gem for. They will arrange the gem for you an have the points deducted.

7. Speciality Mats These are available to guild members for epic patterns etc. to organise them for your pattern please contact an officer ahead of time so that they can be allotted to you for DKP. These Items include
  • Nether Vortex's
  • Hearts of Darkness
  • Sunwell Motes
  • TBA

(Please Note* that we ask you have your mats ready before asking)

8. Legendary Items Legendary items are of course the rarest of the rare, oft times these items require a certain amount of effort an guild resources to complete. As such these Items will be distributed to individuals in the raid at the discretion of the Officers online in consultation with the Guild Master an Council. These items will go where they will most benefit the guild in furthering progression. Whilst input into this decision may be requested by the Officers and GM, once a decision has been made it is Final an not up for further discussion.

9. Dual Spec Bidding. - Due to the availability of Dual spec's being enabled for 3.1 selected Shock Troopers will be able to Bid on Dual spec gear in direct competition with main spec's. the following conditions will apply.

  • A Maximum bid of 50 DKP can be bid at any one time for a dual spec piece. (No Exceptions)
  • Items that have not dropped for us yet are not subject to Dual Spec bidding for the first 5 drops only.
  • The Raid leader an the GM / Council retain the right to over rule any bids of Dual spec in the interests of Our Raiding Progression.

Please Note that we will be re-evaluating this if it becomes necessary at a future stage.

Common Sense.

It is stressed that all members of a raid apply common sense to whatever drops before they put up their hands for anything. After all having someone that has been using a blue weapon upgraded so they do better dps / healing, is better than someone that gains 1 attack power difference.

Mains Vrs Alts.

When we raid, the raid is built of Mains so the preference of mains over alts shouldn’t be a problem. However if an alt has been brought into a raid at what ever stage by request of the raid leader, That alt has the same rights to loot as would any main. The reason for this should be obvious. If someone brings in a alt at the request of the raid leader / Officers they are doing it to help an benefit the raid and should not be penalized for that.

By the same token if through prior arrangement an alt is added into a run simply to pick something up that’s not needed but doesn’t have a dedicated role that cannot be filled by anyone else, as may be the case with Farm content. Mains take priority over the alt.

Casuals Vrs Mains

Everyone that raids with us goes into our point system. They get the same points for time spent an bosses downed. Because of this there is no difference between Mains of the guild an Casuals that are added to the raid to make up numbers.

10 Man Raids

The same rules apply to 10 man raids as for 25 man raids with 1 difference. We use /roll instead of /bid. All other restrictions apply.

** Please note that if at a future date these rules are found to be in need of updating then at that time they shall be. If and when that happens then we will endeavour to make everyone aware of the changes through this forum as well as through the normal means **
